Creating Playlists

What Can Be Added To Playlists:

  • Video (Full Titles and Segments)
  • Audio
  • Custom Segments
  • Custom Content
  • Web Channels

Please note that a Series result cannot be added to a playlist; to add a Series, click on the Series result, then follow the instructions below for each video in the series.


Creating a Playlist and Adding Content:

To save content to a playlist, you must have a user account in the Infobase system. Log in at the upper right of the platform, under "Your Profile." If you are logged in, you will see "Hi, Name!" in this area.

Content can be added to playlists using the "Add to" menu option. This option can be found on all search results and media viewing pages when the content-type is supported. 

To create a playlist, or add content to an existing playlist, click on Add to with the plus symbol, and then the Playlist option.


On Search Results:

If the video has no segments, you will have these options:

  1. Add Full Title - Click on this option to add only the full title to your playlist.
  2. Add To Existing Playlist - Select an existing playlist to add this content to.
  3. Create New Playlist - Click on this button and enter a name for the playlist and to create a new playlist from the selections.

If there are segments in this video, you will have these options:

  1. Add Full Title - Click on this option to add only the full title to your playlist.
  2. Add All Segments - Click on this option to add all segments to your playlist, excluding the full title.
  3. Individual Segments - Select as many individual segments as you would like by holding the Ctrl key while clicking.
  4. Add To Existing Playlist - Select an existing playlist to add this content to.
  5. Create New Playlist - Click on this button and enter a name for the playlist and to create a new playlist from the selections.
